Your training stays with you

Corda Nova does not collect any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. Everything you enter stays on your device.
Who we are
Corda Nova is an iOS app that helps capoeira students prepare for their batizado and next cord. This policy explains what the app does with information on your device. Questions can be sent through the form on our support page.
Information the app stores on your device
- Your batizado name, date and venue, your cord ladder and current cord.
- Checklist progress, bookmarks and personal notes.
- Diary entries: date, type of session, place, nicknames of people you played with, what went well and the items you practised.
- Photos you choose to attach to diary entries, taken with the camera or picked from your photo library.
- Scores from the berimbau tap-along trainer and completed daily lessons.
- Your settings (sound, haptics, theme, reminders).
This information is kept in the app's private storage on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. We have no server that receives it and we cannot see it.
Camera and photo library
The camera is used only when you tap Camera in the diary to photograph a class or roda. The photo library is used only when you tap Photo library to choose a picture. Only the photo you take or pick is copied into the app; the app does not read the rest of your library.
Notifications
If you turn on reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device (countdown to the batizado and a weekly class-day reminder). No push service is used and no notification data leaves your device.
Sharing
When you share song lyrics or a diary card, iOS shows the system share sheet and you choose where it goes. Nothing is shared without your action.
Data we collect
None. Corda Nova contains no third-party SDKs, analytics, crash reporting, advertising or tracking, and it does not make network requests. In App Store terms: Data Not Collected.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Keeping and deleting your data
Your data stays until you delete it. Use Settings › Erase all progress to remove everything from the app, or delete the app to remove all of its data from the device. Device backups you make through iCloud or a computer follow Apple's terms.
Your rights
Because we do not hold any of your personal data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export or delete on our side. All of it is under your control on your device. This applies wherever you live, including under the GDPR, LGPD and CCPA.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
